Television actress Tunisha Sharma’s suicide has been taking a new turn every day. The 20-year-old actress was found hanging from the bathroom of her ex-boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan’s make-up room on the sets of her serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’. If recent reports are to be believed, Sheezan’s police custody has been extended by an additional day.

As reported by ETimes, the extension was prompted due to the serious allegations made Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma. During a press conference, she had alleged that Sheezan had forced Tunisha to wear a hijab and change her religion. She had also said that the actor had slapped for trying to break-up with him. Talking about the same, the 28-year-old actor’s advocate told a section of media that there has been no development in the ongoing case. He went on to express that during the investigation, the police didn’t find any evidence against Sheezan and that the allegations made by Tunisha’s mother are baseless.

He said, “The only thing that came up today was Tunisha’s mom saying that he slapped her. There is no other development that came up. There’s CCTV footage of everything on the sets. The 15 minutes of conversation that’s been talked about is all speculation.”

“In the investigation, it has become clear that Police have no evidence against Sheezan. All allegations made by Tunisha's mother are baseless. There is no secret girlfriend. Police is investigating the case, we should wait. I am very confident that Sheezan will be proven not guilty,” he added further.  ALSO READ: Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case Update: Mumbai Police Find A Note Six Days After Her Death; Says, ‘He Is Lucky To Have Me’- READ
