TV actress Jannat Zubair has acquired a massive fan base around her during her long career. She started her acting career at a young age by featuring in the 2011 show Phulwa. Jannat then went on to star in Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap during her career in the television industry. Considering her massive fanbase on Instagram, the actress also went on to feature in several music videos. In an interview now, Jannat, who was last seen in the show Tu Aashiqui revealed why she has been missing from the small screen.
Speaking with the Times of India, when asked about her absence from the small screen, Jannat recalled the time when she had announced that she wouldn’t be taking up any other projects after Tu Aashiqui. The actress said, “In one of the press conferences of Tu Aashiqui, I had said that this was my last TV show and I wouldn't be taking up any other projects.” She continued, “I have taken a break from TV which is a much needed one for me. Since childhood, I have been doing TV shows and I needed to break that monotony.”
Jannat Zubair further elaborated on her decision to take a break from television shows. She spoke about the daily grind of television, erratic schedules and hours of the shoot. The actress said, “Working for a TV show is not easy as it seems. Right from erratic schedules to hours of shoot, you don’t even get a minute for yourself. I wanted to do other things and also spend time with my family. I am happy in this space right now because I am getting to explore a lot of things and I am able to focus on myself as well." When asked about her return to the small screen, Jannat said she is not sure how long her break will continue, but mentioned that right now, she is focused on taking a break for herself.
