Sheezan Khan, who is out on bail in Tunisha Sharma's suicide case, has been roped in to participate in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming reality shows Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. On Thursday, he was granted permission by the court to travel abroad to shoot for the reality show. Now, it has been reported that Tunisha’s mother Vanita has sent a legal notice to the channel and Endemol for roping in Sheezan. In a statement, she said that the channel has done wrong.
As reported by Bollywoodlife.com, Vanita told that the actor has been charged under section 306 of the IPC and that the Police filed a 524-page chargesheet against Sheezan. She alleged that a person like him should not get a big platform like KKK 13 as it would give out a wrong message. Vanita explained that people idolize TV stars and celebrities and thus you cannot have him on the show. She went on to vent out her anger saying Sheezan was abusive and even consumed drugs. Hailing the court’s decision, Sheezan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra told, “We are grateful to the court, as our application has been allowed and Sheezan Khan has been permitted to travel abroad for Khatron Ke Khiladi. I was surprised by the submissions made by the prosecution as their reply and argument supported our case, and their attempt of misleading the court was also thwarted at the threshold.”
For the unversed, Sheezan was arrested for abetment of suicide, after his co-star and alleged former girlfriend Tunisha was found hanging on the sets of their TV serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul.’ He was granted bail in March this year 70 days after his arrest.
