Recently it was reported that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Bhide aka Mandar Chandwadkar has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor also took to his social media account and shared a video confirming the same, and giving fans an update about his health. He urged fans to follow the COVID-19 guidelines, while revealing that he is asymptomatic and will resume work soon. Since then, ‘get well soon’ wishes have been pouring in for the actor. Now, Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, who used to play the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in TMKOC, has also wished Mandar a quick recovery.
Gurucharan Singh Sodhi made his exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah last year, after which Balwinder Singh Suri replaced him. Now, Gurucharan Singh took to his social media to wish his friend Mandar Chandwadkar a speedy recovery. Looks like he had a conversation with Mandar via a video call, and checked up on his health. Gurucharan Singh Sodhi shared a screenshot from the video call, and in his caption, he wrote, “Mandy :Mandar D great Get WeLL SooN n Lots of Prayers Shikshak Bhau.”

Meanwhile, Mandar Chandwadkar earlier told ETimes that he is in isolation at his home. “My symptoms of cold had actually gone away but suddenly yesterday I could not smell camphor in puja. I felt I had lost the sense of smell and got myself tested. Upon getting the test, I immediately informed the TMKOC unit that I shall stay away from the shoot until I am perfectly alright again. Yes, I am COVID positive but I am taking every possible care,” he said.
