Tinaa Dattaa-Mohit Malhotra’s Patch-Up After Sexual Harassment Controversy Of No Good, Daayan Will Go Off-Air Next Month

Looks like even after the lead pair “ironed out” their differences post Tina Dattaa accusing co-star Mohit Malhotra of inappropriately touching her during a few scenes, the future of Ekta Kapoor’s Daayan is not bright. SpotboyE.com has come to know that come April, and the show will go off-air

Ekta Kapoor's Daayan made headlines recently when the main lead of the show, Tinaa Dattaa accused her co-star Mohit Malhotra for touching her inappropriately during the shoot. When the controversy was on, certain media reports also suggested that the show might go off-air citing low TRPs and their (Tinaa and Mohit) differences over the harassment accusations.

However, rubbishing all such news, Tinaa Dattaa and Mohit Malhotra mended fences and the actress issued a statement in which the she had said, "Mohit and I have ironed out our differences. We have concluded to make a new start. I don’t have any issues working with him. Our on-screen chemistry works for the show and shall maintain a professional environment for the betterment of the show. I am happy that our audience has liked the show and I am sure this new start will be appreciated by all and will put a rest to any further speculation."

But SpotboyE.com has it the show is finally getting over, in spite of the patch-up. It will bid adieu by next month. A source close to the show informed us that actors and production team have already been informed about the development and soon they will wrap-up the shooting of the show. The source further informed us, “The reason for pulling the plug off is show’s low TRPs.”

We tried contacting Tinaa Datta and Mohit Malhotra to know their reaction to the development but they didn’t respond till the time of going online.
