Going down memory lane to her childhood days back home in Kolkata, Tinaa Datta reminisces fond moments of her father teaching her how to fly a kite, and gorging on various Bengali delicacies throughout the festivities. As we celebrate Makar Sankranti today, here's what Tinna has to say on the special day.
Tinaa shares,"As a child I would enjoy celebrating Makar Sankranti. My father initially taught me how to fly kites back home in Kolkata, and we would eagerly await the day to test our kite flying skills. My dad and I would start flying kites from around 3:30 in the afternoon itself on our terrace till sunset, and we would have an absolute blast cutting kites of the people from our neighbouring buildings."
