I spoke to Asim’s brother Umar and he accused you of passing below the belt comments…
Yes, I read your interview with Umar which you put out last night. Now I am going to write him an open letter on Twitter.

Okay, what are you writing in that?
All the details right from the beginning as to what all he has said to me. He had even abused me once.

He told me he never abused you..
This was when Vikas Gupta had entered the house and said that Shruti Tuli is Asim's girlfriend without taking her name. Then, I had put up a post on Twitter stating that Shruti is not his girlfriend but just his friend because she had put it that way on her Twitter page. After that, Umar called me up and said 'Yeh aap kya daal rahe ho Twitter pe? Kyu ma c***a rahe ho?' Mind you that's exactly what he said. I don't advocate foul language. I wondered what wrong had I done because I had just put up what Shruti had written

Are you mentioning all this in your letter?

Yes, I have written that in my letter.

Go on...
After that phone call, I deleted my post. Then next day, he put up the same post defending his brother. I let it go.

Umar says Asim is busy and hence he couldn't arrange your interview with him...
That's okay. That has not hurt me.  What hurts is the fact that a week before, he thanked all the fan pages of the show but not me.

Do your consider that your Twitter handle matters so much?
Of course, it matters. In fact,  Vindu Dara Singh tweeted yesterday that it was because of my posts in Asim's support that he ended up in the Top 3 or he wouldn't have made it till that point.

Before the Shruti Tuli incident, was Umar fine with you?
No, he was never happy. There used to be just his and hellos.

Then, why were you supporting Asim so much?
Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai have a tremendous fan following, so I thought why not support an underdog?

Umar also told me that he handles Asim's complete PR...
Yes. But you can't discount my contribution. Most media news and hype he got was through my handle, including the John Cena one.

Would Asim have ended up as No:2 if you hadn't supported him?
He wouldn't have become famous.

That doesn't answer my question...
Asim wouldn't have become No:2 if I wasn't around.
