Kapil has been keeping unwell, and many big-ticket celebrities, from Shah Rukh Khan to Anil Kapoor have had to return from the sets thanks to the comedian’s inability to shoot.

An official spokesperson from the channel has sent out a statement saying: “Kapil has been under the weather for sometime now. Due to which, we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.”


The Kapil Sharma Show Will Go Off Air

Super Dancer will reportedly take The Drama Company’s time slot of 8 pm, while the latter will reportedly be pushed to Kapil’s air time of 9 pm.
According to reports, the channel may also air some old episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show to fill the slot.

The length of this hiatus is not known yet and The Kapil Sharma Show may be gone from the small screen for a long time.

This move comes as a surprise as Sony had renewed Kapil Sharma’s contract just this month, despite persistent rumours that their collaboration may end soon.
