Here comes a delightful news for the fans of the popular comedy TV show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Standup comedian-actor, Kapil Sharma who has been entertaining the audience for years now, has received six months extension to the ongoing season of the comedy show. The news was confirmed by TellyChakkar. The show despite the COVID-19 pandemic with no audience was aired on the GEC, but was discontinued after a couple of episodes. Followed by resuming with the fresh episodes with a limited audience towards the third quarter of 2021.
The Kapil Sharma Show also stars Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Sudesh Lehri, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarty, and Chandan Prabhakar in key roles. Besides them, the show also sees some popular TV artists gracing the show occasionally. Senior actress Archana Puran Singh is the judge. So far, the ongoing and third season was graced by Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Chitrangada Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkummar Rao and more.
To be soon seen on the show are Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangada Singh promoting their upcoming Bob Biswas.
Recently due to a misunderstanding, former actress and Indian political figure,
Smriti Irani was refused an entry on the show by the guard on duty on the TV show sets. Later on, learning about this unpleasant incident, Kapil Sharma schooled the guard and apologized to Smriti Irani.
