That time she was also a child artist and the main lead in the film. She was 4-years-old and the song of our film 'Naani Teri Morni Ko Mor Le Gaye' is still a very popular song. We shot for the song in Malad (Bombay Talkies). Post that I have done a lot many films, with Ashok Kumar to Amitabh Bachchan. I did Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Kacche Dhaage, Krantivir and today also, I get work offers."
However, he maintains that the kind of love and recognition he received for Nattu Kaka is unmatchable. "Now I am 75! When I started I was just 7-8 years old and with this, I have completed 68 years in the industry. But the kind of recognition I have received for Nattu Kaka in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is on another level. It made my life and due to that today also I am financially stable and living a happy life with my family. Usually actors' life ends are not good but I am blessed that I have everything around me," concluded the actor.
