Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Kush Shah Who Plays Goli And Three Other Crew Members Test Positive For Coronavirus, Confirms Producer Asit Kumarr Modi

Mumbai is one of those cities that has recorded the highest number of Coronavirus cases. To bring the situation under control, CM Uddhav Thackeray announced 15-days curfew in the state. With this, shooting of films, advertisements, and TV shows has also come to a halt. Asit Kumarr Modi, the producer of hit show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently spoke about the ban on the shooting of shows and four members testing positive for Coronavirus on sets.

He stated that Kush Shah who plays the role of Goli in the show has tested positive along with other three crew members. Asit Kumarr Modi mentioned that all those who are COVID-19 positive are in home-quarantine and safe. "We had not thought of any possibility of going out for the shoot because the guidelines that came out 3-4 days ago didn't mention a ban on shooting. According to those guidelines we had to take everyone's RT-PCR tests on the set. So, we got everyone tested and four people tested Covid-positive. But we had already home-quarantined them because while taking the test they were showing some symptoms. We got everyone tested on Friday, April 9. We have been taking precautions during the shoot. If anyone was a little sick, we would ask them not to come to the shoot. Kush Shah, who plays Goli on the show and some production people, are positive. There is no one positive in the main cast. All those who are positive are also home quarantine and everyone else is safe," he said.

Asit Kumarr Modi also agreed with the Government's call to impose a 15-days curfew and hasn't thought about shifting the shooting location of the show outside Maharashtra as yet.
