Main lead Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal of the popular and longest-running show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah made some shocking revelations about his co-stars during his virtual conversation with Sight And Insight. The actor revealed Amit Bhatt who plays his onscreen father Champak Chachaji on the show, is poles apart from his onscreen image in his real life. While on the show he is shown to be a strict father, in real life he is the most mischievous person.
He also revealed Amit and Kavi Kumar Azad who played Hathibhai being a team when it came to playing pranks on the TV sets. He also revealed that he collaborating with Amit Bhatt for plays in the past. He said, “Bahut mazedaar hai Amit. Maine jo last do play kiye the usme bhi woh mere saath the. Theater bhi hamne saath kiya hai.” Besides this, he praised mentioned Ambika (Komal Bhabhi), Sonalika (Madhavi Bhide) and Mandarji (Bhide) being punctual on the sets.
Speaking about the team’s dedication towards the show, he said, “Puri team bahut jyada disciplined aur dedicated hai. Tabhi toh 3000 se jyada episode kar paye nahi to nahi ho sakta tha.”
