Every year, the festival of Navratri is celebrated with a bang in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Gokuldham society. The viewers of the show enjoy the the fun-filled celebrations that take place on the show that are always incomplete without Jethalal and Dayaben. It’s been a few years since the viewers have not got the chance to watch Dayaben say ‘Hey Maa, Mataji’ and show off her famous Garba steps to the tunes. However, as the Navratri 2020 has commenced, TMKOC’s Ambika Rajankar aka Komal Hathi opened up about Navratri celebrations in Gokuldham society this year.
Speaking with Koimoi.com, Ambika Rajankar revealed how the celebrations will be considering the Coronavirus pandemic. She said, “Like we did in Ganpati we followed all the rules, instructions and social distancing norms, we are going to do it the same way with Navratri too. In fact, the rules are the same for regular shoots as well, so whether it’s Navratri or not we follow all the rules. In the serial, it is going to be there, and like we do every year we will be doing it this year as well.”
Talking about the Navratri celebrations, the actress mentioned that the celebrations will be just like the way they did during Ganesh Chaturthi. Ambika Rajankar aka Komal Hathi shared that the cast and crew of TMKOC will be following all the rules, instructions and social distancing norms, during the Navratri celebrations. She also confirmed that there will be Navratri celebrations in Gokuldham society, just like every year, but this time it will be with more precautions.
Meanwhile, the Navratri celebrations at Gokuldham society have always been popular, thanks to Disha Vakani aka Dayaben’s epic dancing style. Dayaben’s Garba steps are too hard to understand and the actress has managed to entertain fans with her skills. It was recently that it was reported that Disha Vakani is making a comeback during Navratri.
