On August 5, Supreme court of India's verdict for Sushant Singh Rajput's death case has got a sigh of relief for all those who were praying for the actor to get justice. The case was transferred to CBI which was a big positive sign for many. Sushant who was the superstar of Bollywood and TV industry ended his life on June 14, as the actor was found dead in his Bandra residence. The initial investigation by Mumbai Police confirms it is a case of suicide. However, the reason for his death is not known and to find that a lot of people demanded a CBI Inquiry. Now when the court has asked Mumbai police to handover the detailed report in three days to the CBI we spoke to a few of the actors from the TV industry who were demanding justice for Sushant.
Talking to us Shashank Vyas who is currently gearing up for his film Laila Manju says, "I have been following this case very closely. It bothers me so much that few of my friends also started avoiding me thinking agar isse baat karenge to Sushant ke baare mein baat karega. On my social media posts also they were commenting not to get affected so much. And now suddenly the same people have generated interest in the matter and texting me what is happening also sending month old updates about the developments. I have been reading everything about him and following his Instagram page and hashtags created for him which is demanding justice for him. I am glad about the decision of the CBI inquiry as it is extremely important to know why a person who has everything in life was in depression. If that is the reason given to us for his death. I always had a question why after constant demand also CBI inquiry was not given. But now when they finally have hold of it just like any other citizen of this nation I am also waiting for Justice to Sushant. If at all there are people involved in this there has to be a severe punishment for them".
Mohit Malhotra who will be seen in Naagin 5 too opined, "I have been following the news but honestly, I feel everyone is presenting their own theory. Whatever happened to Sushant he took it with him to his grave. But having said that I feel if someone else was involved or he did it because of someone, then that person should be punished. I am happy that the CBI enquiry has finally been sanctioned, at least now we will get some clarity on the case. Also, I think people should not use a late actor's name for their own benefit if you really want to help, help with the investigation, don't use his name for mud-slinging people you have a problem with".
Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Vikas Sethi also states, "I didn't know him personally, still the news of his death made me cry. Honestly, I feel there is something fishy about the whole case. I mean the police could have accessed his WhatsApp chat details and bank account details so easily, I don't know what took them so long. But with the CBI now taking the charge, it's a big sigh of relief and if someone was involved or someone pushed him to take his life, then that person should be punished. I also feel all those using his name and death for their own benefit should just leave him alone".
