The Chhichhore actor was an idol for many TV actors wanting to make big on the silver screen. His death created so much anger, chaos, curiosity and unrest among the industry and his fans.

Talking about the same, Shardul says, "Sushant moved world the way we had never seen, the day I was evicted from BB house my first question was what happened to the case? We still don’t know, however, I feel sad that more than Sushant it became about people using him for his or her agendas. What was sad is we made it about ghost whisperers, dirty politics, nepotism, banning stars and forgot it was Justice for Sushant what we wanted and not trp for news channels."

Shardul, who has also experienced depression due to no work, confesses that the upcoming actors who are struggling to make a mark in the glamour world should be educated enough to get a job as well because you never know when things go downhill. "I have seen it myself. Acting is was and will be an unstable profession," said the actor.

Shardul reveals he didn't know the late actor personally but did recall meeting him on various occassions. He concluded saying, "I didn't know him personally but we met twice while performing for new talent awards and another time when he came on my show for a music tv channel. We did have our sets right next to each other for Bandini and Pavitra Rishta."
