Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely untimely death has come as a shock. The actor was going through depression and ended his life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan yesterday, at his Bandra residence. During investigation police found out that the late actor made last call to his close friend Mahesh Shetty. Although it went unanswered and now Mahesh team has released an official statement by him.
On his Instagram we could read a post mentioning, "As we all are deeply pained and shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise...So is Mahesh Shetty. He has lost a brother, and very dear friend and is still coming to terms with the shock and the reality and is completely heartbroken. We, his team request the media and all of you on his behalf, to please give me him some privacy and let him greave for his loss".
Sushant and Mahesh were extremely close to each other ever since their Pavitra Rishta days. Recently on his birthday Sushant posted a picture with him captioning, "Happy birthday meri jaan.. @memaheshshetty ".
Surely it's a big loss for him. The actor gave a statement to police officials yesterday as per a report in India TV News, Mahesh in his statement to the police stated that Sushant had stopped taking his anti-depressant pills for the past few days. Sushant informed Mahesh that he is fine now and he doesn't need the pills.
Mahesh Shetty, however, also revealed that Sushant was low on energy when he last spoke to him, says reports. Sushant wasn't suffering from any financial crisis either.
