This morning we woke up to the sad news of Bollywood and television actress Surekha Sikri leaving the world. The actor's manager confirmed to SpotboyE.com, “Three-time national award-winning actress Surekha Sikri has passed away following a cardiac arrest earlier this morning at the age of 75. She had been suffering from complications arising from a second brain stroke."
In some great contributions to the industry, Surekha Sikri played the path-breaking character of Kalyani Devi in one of the longest-running shows Balika Vadhu. Surekha's death has definitely left her onscreen family from the show numb. We spoke to Shahshkank Vyas who played her grandson (Jagdish) on the show. The two shared a lovely bond off-screen also. We both shared an extremely close bond that will never fade away. She will be missed. May her soul rest in peace." Also read: National Award-Winning Actor Surekha Sikri Dies Of Cardiac Arrest
