Looking at the popularity of web space in today’s times, makers of Shakti Arora-Kinshuk Mahajan and Aditi Sharma starrer Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka had decided to bring the show on Voot from Colors TV, 2 months back. The show received great response on the platform and was one of the most watched show on Voot. However, the bad news is that Silsila will soon bid final goodbye to viewers. Well, that’s right! Voot is soon to discontinue the show and the reason is that it’s turning out to be an expensive affair.
An actor associated with the show revealed to
SpotboyE.com that buzz is strong on the sets of the show that it will finally see its end on Voot soon. However, the channel and production team has not announced anything officially. We hear that since the format on the digital space is that of finite series and unlike TV, daily soaps cannot go forever, the costing was going for a toss and that’s why this decision has been taken.
The show’s concept received a lot of backlash while it was aired on TV, which eventually resulted in low TRP's. Apart from exploring the digital space, this was also another reason channel decided to pull the plug off. And Silsila was moved to Voot on November 26. You may recall we were the first ones to inform that the show will go off-air.
Talking about the current track, the story is focussed on two little girls of Nandini (Drashti Dhami) and Mauli (Aditi Sharma). We had also told you about the sudden exit of Drashti Dhami, who used to essay the character of Nandini in the show, as the actress didn’t want to play a mother on-screen.
