Bigg Boss 13 was one of the most interesting seasons, and the contestants on the show received immense popularity. While many rose to fame after the show, during BB13, fans loved watching Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz. Although both Sidharth and Asim were the ones who won many hearts, eventually, Shukla bagged the trophy and title of Bigg Boss 13 turning out to be the winner of the season. But, it looks like, Asim Riaz who was the runner-up on the show is the winner, not on BB13, but on social media and we have proof.
On Instagram, both Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz have their respective verified accounts, but also have many fan pages account on their names. But, in the social media race of having the most followers in total, Asim Riaz has proved to be a winner leaving Shukla behind. Although Sidharth won BB13, Asim who garnered huge fame through social media has a fan following of 2.5 million on Instagram.
Whereas, while Asim has about 2.5 million following on his Instagram account, Sidharth Shukla who is the winner of BB13 has around 2.4 million following on social media. Like we all know, social media is the most important asset today, and Asim being quite active on social media sharing pictures and videos updating fans about his daily routine has proved helpful for the former contestant indeed.
Meanwhile, even though Asim has more fans following on IG than Sidharth on social media, both the contestants have received a fair share of love and respect from fans and it looks like they are continuing to get that even after the show ended.
