Sidharth Shukla Death: Late Actor's Family Issues Statement After His Untimely Demise, Asks People To Respect Its Privacy

Actor Sidharth Shukla's last rites took place on Friday. On Monday, the late actor's family released a statement and asked everyone to respect the family's privacy.

Popular TV and film actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2. The actor's untimely demise has left his friends, family and fans shocked as well as heartbroken. Celebs from the TV and film industry paid heartfelt tribute to the late actor. Sidharth's last rites took place a day after his demise - in presence of his family members, close friends including lady love Shehnaaz Gill. Today, Sidharth's family has organised a prayer meet online at 5 pm.

Ahead of that, the late actor's family has released a statement and asked everyone for privacy in this difficult time. Furthermore, they also thanked Mumbai police for their 'sensitivity and compassion'.

The statement reads, "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth's journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn't end here as he now resides in our hearts forever. Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you all to allow our family the privacy to grieve." It adds, "A special Thank You to the Mumbai Police force  for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us, standing by us every minute of the day! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti! The Shukla Family!"

Sidharth Shukla was one of the most popular and successful stars in the industry. He amassed unprecedented popularity and success after winning Bigg Boss 13. The actor reportedly breathed his last in Shehnaaz's lap. He was taken to Cooper Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. The actor is now survived by his mother and two sisters.
