Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari is all set to take Bollywood by storm with her debut film Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. She has often been targeted for being a celebrity kid but Palak feels that being a star kid comes with its own baggage of struggles. In a recent interview, the Bijli Bijli actress shared her views on the never-ending nepotism debate and admitted that the outsiders are ‘marginalised’ and ‘overlooked’. However, Palak mentioned that a being star kid comes up with the pressure of living up to what their parents have created.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Palak Tiwari stated, "I believe that outsiders are marginalised and to a sense that is true, maybe sometimes they are overlooked. But you know there are equal cons I would say of being related to someone that has made it. More than anything else, just the pressure of living up to what they have created and the love that audiences have for them. I know, that no matter what I do, people will always think that my mom is better and that is something that I have never refuted in my life and I will never because she is better. I am a part of her. I am a much smaller part of her. So for me to grow where she is, it will take me a lot of time. But also, my mom had a lot of struggle in her life from a young age.” ALSO READ: Shweta Tiwari's Daughter Palak Tiwari On Nepotism: 'I Have A Few Benefits But I Don't Consider Myself A Star Kid'-EXCLUSIVE

The young starlet also pointed out that every parent puts in a lot of effort to give their kids a better and secure life. Shaming a child would actually be meant to be shaming the parent. “It is their right to provide a bit for their children, it is something you cannot take away from them. The actress was quoted saying "unka haq banta hai ki woh apne baccho ko thoda provide karein,” Palak further explained.

Palak Tiwari rose to fame with the music video 'Bijli Bijli', where she starred alongside singer-actor Harrdy Sandhu. She was recently featured in the recreated version of the 90’s song ‘Mangta Hai Kya’ with Aditya Seal.
