Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has successfully completed 10 years of entertaining fans. On the occasion, the team cut a cake on-set. Disha Vakani shared two pictures from the celebration and wrote, “Tarak mehta ka ooltah chashmah completed 2500 happy sodes Missing all the cast peoples very much. Thanks all the fans for loving us. #neelatelefilms”
Now, SpotboyE.com
has it that the next track of the show will be shot at Vaishno Devi.
Says a source,
“The team will head to Vaishno Devi to celebrate the success of the show. In
the coming episodes, you will see the stars, who play Gokuldham Society
residents, planning the trip. If all goes well, the team will fly out on July
27.”

Unfortunately,
Dr. Hathi (Kavi Kumar Azaad) and Daya Ben will not be a part of the track. The
latter has taken a sabbatical.
To talk of Dr
Hathi, a couple of days ago, Taarak producer, Asit Modi, told
SpotboyE.com that the popular character will be replaced in the show.
When
we contacted Modi, he was initially cagey and simply said that he hasn’t
decided--- but when prodded further, he opened up and said, “We will have to
replace Dr Hathi, if you want to know. It’s
the actor who has passed away, not
the character.”
Kavi Kumar Azaad
It is clear that Modi has started thinking of
possible replacements. However, he was not ready to talk beyond a certain
point.
Kavi Kumar Azaad sadly left us on July 9 after
a massive cardiac arrest. The cremation took place the
following day and was attended by the Taarak family including Shailesh
Lodha, Neha Mehta, Mandar Chandwadkar and Jennifer Mistry among others.
Asit Modi
Dr Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar) and Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) had extended their heartfelt condolences. Ditto for Tappu Sena.
SpotboyE.com also ran a big interview
with Dr Muffi, where he opened up about the actor refusing to
undergo the second bariatric surgery simply because he felt that if he sheds
weight, he won't get any acting offer in the TV industry!
Coming back to
Taarak’s Vaishno Devi track, the fans will surely miss Dr Hathi and Daya Ben.
