Internet sensation Rakhi Sawant ruled the internet last year with her shocking allegations against her ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani. The estranged couple didn’t shy away from washing their dirty laundry in front of the media. According to a recent report by the Free Press Journal, she is now facing an arrest as the Supreme Court rejected her anticipatory relief plea on Monday about Adil’s leaked video case. For the unversed, she had sought relief from the SC after he had accused her of leaking and circulating his pornographic videos.
As per the media publication’s report, Sawant had moved to the Supreme Court to seek anticipatory bail so that she could avoid arrest in the case. However, SC dismissed the plea and asked the 45-year-old actress to surrender within four weeks. It is to be noted that the Bombay High Court had earlier also dismissed her plea, which led to Rakhi challenging the decision in SC. For those who don’t know, Adil had lodged a complaint against the Bigg Boss fame and accused her of leaking his “private, sexually explicit videos online.” Rakhi Sawant is yet to share an official statement on the matter. Talking about Rakhi Sawant and Adil Khan Durrani’s tumultuous relationship, they tied the knot in 2022 in a traditional ceremony. However, they parted ways a year later after a messy divorce filled with allegations and accusations. The couple left no stone unturned to wash their dirty laundry in front of the media and even went as far as to file around 7 cases on each other.
If reports are to be believed, their relationship fell apart when she accused him of extra-marital affairs, sexual harassment, and physical abuse. She went on to allege that he also mishandled her funds and accused him of killing her mother by not paying for her cancer treatment when the actress was busy shooting for Bigg Boss Marathi season 4.
