Popular standup comedians Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover and team were on board an Air India flight (AI309) to Mumbai via Delhi, after doing stage performances in Melbourne and Sydney. The Kapil Sharma Show team was travelling business class and even before the flight could land in Delhi, Kapil Sharma got too high in spirits! SpotboyE.com has it that Kapil, who was
completely sloshed, walked up to his co-actor Sunil Grover’s seat and started
hurling abuses at him. In a flash of a second, he held Sunil by his collar and
started beating him up black and blue. A shocked Sunil did not retaliate and
took the blows. Both got out to the aisle area between the economy and business
class and continued fighting. Kapil was heard saying lines like, “Tu hai kaun?
Tera show flop gaya tha, tu mera naukar hai, tu Australia mein bhi jo show kiya
khud se woh flop tha…”

According
to our sources, the passengers on board could not believe their eyes. They were
so shocked and scared that a couple of them even wanted an emergency
landing. However, the other team members somehow got Kapil in control and the
situation just about got handled.
Grover was in tatters and has still not
recovered.

You may recall that Sunil and Kapil have always had a strained equation. In the past as well, Sunil quit Comedy Nights With Kapil as he asked for a hike and Kapil, who was the producer and host of the show, refused to comply. He went on to join hands with Manish Paul and came up with his own comedy show Mad In India. The show didn’t do very well and Kapil’s show also witnessed a dip in the TRPs. On realising that they both need each other, Sunil and Kapil re-united.
And now,
Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have unfollowed each other on Twitter. We hear
that the fight got so ugly that something big can happen. Will Grover quit
the show or bear more humiliation?
Not just
Grover, Kapil’s show’s other team members have been very unhappy with his
behavior of late. Sources tell us that since the time Kapil has started work on
his next film Firangi, he has started addressing his team members as ‘TV Walo’
and sometime his tone is so not appropriate.
No action has been taken against Kapil Sharma by the airline authorities even though the scene was extremely embarrassing and distasteful.
A source says, "Kapil has just gone bonkers." Sony Entertainment Television, are you there?
