SpotboyE.com can tell you exclusively that as you read
this, Shoaib is on the sets of Zee TV's Jeet Gayi To Piyaa Morre in Naigaon,
delivering his first shot for the show.
Shoaib is playing a character called Varun, an aspiring
actor. He is a struggler who spends his days giving auditions. It’s during one
these auditions that he meets Devi, and two fall in love.
His entry sequence is very dramatic and hence scheduled
to be shot tomorrow, after he warms up to the team today.
He’s currently shooting with Yesha Rughani for the show’s
25-year leap.
That’s not the only change in the show though, its on-air
time is also being changed and Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre will now hit TV
screens on 11 pm, instead of it’s 7pm slot.
While talking to a daily, the actor confirmed the news
and said, "I communicated my decision to quit the show to the producers
when they informed me about the leap. I don't want to play a father to a
25-year-old at this stage, as I don't look like one. Doing so could also be
detrimental to my career. Introducing a time leap, which results in the exit of
one of the faces of the show, involves a great deal of risk. So, the makers must
have arrived at this decision after much deliberation. I am not upset with this
development just because I am not a part of the show anymore."

Shoaib was last seen in Star Plus' Koi Lautke Aaya Hai
opposite Surbhi Jyoti. He also participated in dance reality show Nach Baliye 8
with wife Dipika last year. He shot to fame playing the character of Prem
Bhardawaj in Colors' longest running show Sasural Simar Ka.
Congratulations on the new beginning, Shoaib!
