Actress Shehnaaz Gill has amassed a huge fan following post her stint in Bigg Boss 13. She rose to fame with her down-to-earth personality and straightforward statements. Having started her career in the Punjabi industry, the actress recently made her much-awaited debut with Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. During a recent interview, she spoke about the transformation she went through after she was body-shamed in Bigg Boss.
Talking to the news agency PTI, she revealed that it was a conscious decision on her part to change herself and work on herself. She followed the good advice people gave her and improved herself. Shehnaaz recalled how she would often hear people commenting on her body or fat-shaming her when she was in Bigg Boss. Quoted by Hindustan Times, the 30-year-old actress said, “I lost weight as I would hear a lot of comments on 'Bigg Boss' about being fat and was body-shamed... Then I changed my style as people would think I could only wear a salwar-suit. On the work front, apart from her big Bollywood debut that is being hailed and celebrated by the fans, Shehnaaz runs her own chat show Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz on her YouTube channel, where she is seen talking to celebrities about their upcoming projects. She has also completed filming Rhea Kapoor’s untitled project.
