Shark Tani India season 3 has been making the headlines for quite some time now. The business-based reality show often leaves the netizens with mixed reactions. In one of the recent episodes of the show, a founder duo came on stage to present their health and wellness brand. However, the pitch took a turn when Anupam Mittal opened up about a childhood memory and Aman Gupta joked about the former’s ‘gas problems’.
As reported by the Indian Express, Gujarat-based business owners Vaibhav Shah and Swati Vakharia pitched their brand ‘Nabhi Sutra,’ which focuses on various Ayurvedic oils for skincare, health care, and digestion. After hearing their pitch Mittal asked them if the oil goes inside through the belly button. He went on to add, “Because it is sealed, so what’s the entry point?” He recalled, how when he was young, his grandmother would often apply hing (Asafoetida) to his belly button whenever he had stomach worms. Vineeta Singh goes on to mention how hing is used for gas, which might have been the reason his grandmother applied it on time. She jokingly mentions how he might be too shy to confess about it on national television. It is then that Aman Gupta jokes that Mittal has a gas problem. He says, “Woh hume pata lag jaata hai.” As everyone chuckles at the dig, Namita Thapar piques, “I can vouch for that! Calling the entire experience worse, Anupam added, “Bum mein khujli hoti thi!” He goes on to then ask the founders if they ever had stomach worm problems. In shock, Aman tells them not to answer the query. He jokes, “Nahane ki problem nahane se he solve hoti hai. Koi tel laga lo, kahi bhi ragad lo, nahana zaroori hai.” This makes everyone burst out in fits of laughter.
Talking about the show, Shark Tank India is an Indian franchise of the American show of the same name, where known entrepreneurs listen to different business ideas and decide whether or not they want to invest in those ideas.
