The business reality show ‘Shark Tank India Season 2’ aired on Monday evening, 2nd January on Sony TV, and its reviews are pouring in on social media. The first episode introduced all the sharks-most of the old faces along with some new judges and some interesting pitches were seen on the show. However, as per the Twitter review of the new season, netizens are not happy with the sharks rejecting pitches just because they don’t want to upset their friends by investing in a competitive brand.

Many fans even missed Ashneer Grover on the show. Twitterati has shared their reviews of the first episode and expressed their disappointment. One user tweeted, “#RecodeStudios On #SharkTank deserved better. Not investing in friends companies and blocking Categories on Shark Tank Stage was so sad to see. #SharkTankIndiaS2 #Recode.” Another said, “Can't invest in the business because your buddy is in the same industry Shark kyu bula rhe Clown Fish Tank rkhdo naam #SharkTankSeason2.” One of the fans requested the makers to bring back Ashneer on the show. The first episode of Shark Tank India Season 2 opened with Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar rejecting the pitch of two women Uma Jha and Kalpana Jha who runs a pickle and chutney business. Amongst all the pitches, one which left everyone shocked was Dheeraj Bansal and Rahul Sachdeva's cosmetic pitch. Surprisingly, most of the judges refused to invest saying they don’t want to give competition to their friend Vineeta Singh-the CEO of Sugar Cosmetics.

Rejecting the offer, Namita Thappar and Aman Gupta unanimously said, “We won’t be investing in a company, which happens to be our friend’s (Vineeta) competitor.” Vineeta also mentioned that she can’t fund a competitive brand. Hosted by Rahul Dua, Shark Tank India Season 2 will air in India from Monday to Friday at 10 pm on Sony TV.
