Shama Sikander shot to fame with the TV show, Yeh Meri Life Hai and later on was seen in movies, web content and more. The actress who was often trolled for her looks, with trolls hinting at the actress going under the knife, has finally opened up and clarified the rumours. The actress as reported in Times of India has shared getting a botox treatment done but has never done any plastic surgery. Also, she justified people seeing her while she was growing up hence, certain physical changes were taking place that resulted in the actress looking slightly different.
The Maya actress said, “There is no plastic surgery involved in my case. I don't know why people say I got plastic surgery done when it is just cosmetic procedures. When people saw me I was a growing up girl. So certain physical changes were still going on. But from now on if I change completely then you tell me.” On being trolled when she took the 10-year challenge when people couldn’t recognize her in before and after look, she shared that people didn’t see her for many years as she remained away from showbiz as she battled depression.
She further added, "I work out right, I eat right and I meditate, so the change on my skin is also because of this. People didn't see me for so many years when I had gone out of the industry and was going through depression. I have taken botox treatment but that doesn't come under the category of corrective surgery. I have not gone under the knife. At the same time, people shouldn't be bothered at all if any actor or actress is going for plastic surgery. At the end of the day, it is their hard-earned money.”
Speaking about her choice of work, she opened up about how she doesn’t see herself playing bahu, rather would like to be seen as a modern girl. Adding further she mentioned her father raising her like a son and hence she was more inclined towards doing action films over regressive TV shows. On the endnote, she shared that being an artist she wants to do good work irrespective of whatever medium it gets published. ALSO READ:
