Cezanne Khan had garnered immense popularity as Anurag Basu in the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay opposite Shweta Tiwari, and he is remembered for the role even today. Kasautii Zindagii Kay had aired from 2001 and went off air in 2008. Now, Cezanne Khan has returned to our TV screens once again after a hiatus of over 12 years, and fans are pretty excited to see him as Harman in Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. In a recent interview, he opened up about facing the camera once again after such a long time.
While speaking with ETimes, Cezanne Khan said that he was a little anxious at first, however, the thrill of facing the camera helped him overcome it. He said that while one the first day, he was mildly anxious, on the second day, he felt more settled and felt like he was never away, “There was mild anxiety, but the excitement of facing the camera helped me overcome it. Having said that, it did take me a day to settle in. On the second day, I felt that I was never away. Also, I leave everything to the director. I simply follow his instructions. The medium has advanced a lot technologically, and it has been a learning experience,” he said.
Cezanne Khan will be seen playing the role of Harman in the show, which had earlier been played by Vivian Dsena. Speaking about there being comparisons, Cezanne said that he will just work hard on his character, and bring something different, hoping that people will like it.
“I have not watched any of the previous episodes of the show and have joined it with a clean slate. I am sure Vivian performed well, as he is a good actor. But, I am going to bring something different to the show and I hope that people like it,” he said.
