Mahabharat, produced under banner of Swastik productions, starring Shaheer Sheikh as Arjun and Pooja Sharma as Draupadi is also being rerun during the lockdown. We have been constantly getting you some trivia around the show.

In one of his exclusive interviews to us, Shaheer Sheikh had revealed how he almost went into depression and didn't speak to people for 10-15 days after shooting the cheer-haran sequence. Pooja also spoke to us on it and informed how the whole sequence took 20 days to get shot. And now, the producer of the show, Siddharth  KumarTewary has shared some interesting details about the cheer-haran sequence.

Talking to us exclusively Siddharth Kumar Tewary said, "Yes, the cheer-haran sequence was very important as it's the biggest turning point of Mahabharat. The whole dynamic of the story changes from there. I had to make everybody understand that we are living the characters and not just enacting them. So, for that we had pre-written all episodes, did workshops on the sets, ran through all the actors' questions and doubts about the scene. So, it actually took a good amount of time."

Tewary also mentione how difficult it was to shoot the scene and justify it at all levels. He added, "It was one of the toughest sequences shot because in that scene, all the characters cross each other. And the best part of our cheer-haran sequence was the improvisation we did on the sets. It was the thought that when you disrobe a woman, god too will disrobe you. So, when we were shooting the chunk where Krishna helps Draupadi, we endured that every man sitting in the room was without his clothes. And I think that was one of the most memorable sequence of my life."
