The results of the Brain scan performed yesterday on Ashiesh Roy, who was wheeled in yesterday to CritiCare (Juhu) by his driver, have come- and it says that he has a clot in his brain. The further news on the Banegi Apni Baat and Sasural Simar Ka actor is that his right arm and right leg have become quite immobile. And currently, he is on strong medication in the Intensive Care Unit, which in turn, is probably the reason why he is feeling extremely drowsy all the time.

SpotboyE.com also has it that the doctors at CritiCare have also told Ashiesh's well-wishers who have visited him that he needs to cut down on his smoking addiction pronto. It may be recalled that this is the second time that Ashiesh has suffered a paralytic stroke in the last one-and-half year. A source says, "Naturally, it is not a small thing. Second stroke in less than 2 years. Ashiesh needs to be extremely careful about his health hereafter. Hope he comes out of this, like he did last time."

Ashiesh Roy

Ashiesh discovered that his right arm was not moving when his driver came to fetch him from home for his shoot. The actor tried to get up, but was about to fall down, when the driver held him tightly and somehow put him in the car and drove off to CritiCare to get him admitted. Tina Ghai and Jaya Bhattacharya rushed to CritiCare to provide  moral support to Ashiesh.

When contacted this morning, Tina Ghai said, "We are looking after Ashiesh. We want him to be on his feet, again. His sister is in Kolkata and has been inquiring about his health, frequently. Let's see if she comes over."

Added Tina, "I asked Ashiesh this morning if he needs any financial assistance. We are always going to be there for him. CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) would have also sent out an alert, which would have got more people into offering contributions. However, Ashiesh said he is good and would alert us only if he really needs any aid at a later stage."
