Earlier, this week ‘90s popular sit-com show Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai made headlines when its writer Aatish Kapadia came across the replica of the show, made by the Pakistani makers. In his Facebook post, the writer had slammed the Pakistani makers for bluntly copying his bit-by-bit. Aatish had intimated his friends and show fans to not give ‘views’ to the show, and had called it a daylight robbery. Now after Aatish, Rupali Ganguly, who played one of the leads on the show, has also reacted to the redux version of the show. Rupali portrayed the character of a house maker, Monisha alongside Ratna Pathak Shah.

Earlier, writer of the show Aatish Kapadia had slammed the makers in a Facebook post. He had written, “But this blatant copy!??? My god, it’s appalling. My request to my friends is to NOT give that show ‘views’, by chance you’ll come across that daylight robbery. So much for copyright! And I don’t mean the technical copyright. I mean the shameful lack of conscience that those thieves displayed while lifting the show, lock stock and barrel! Waiting for poetic justice, if there’s any. P.s imitation is the best form of flattery. But lack of permission before illegal imitation is amorality.” (ALSO READ: Excuse Me Madam: Sarabhai VS Sarabhai's Rosesh Aka Rajesh Kumar To Surprise Fans By Dressing Up As A Woman On The Show)
