Sanjivani 2 which is a reboot version of Sanjivani is going to go off-air soon. That's right. The makers are all set to pull the chords and the latest tweet by the director of the show, Siddharth Malhotra is proof of it. Sanjivani 2 was considered to be one much-anticipated show, all thanks to the previous show's charm and essence. Even the promotional activity was bang on and it seemed like the show had the potential to recreate the history of the original.

However, destiny had other plans. The makers even introduced fresh faces like Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna along with some old faces from the original like Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli, but the show’s TRP didn’t take off and it didn't pass with flying colours. Seeing less TRPs clocking in, the makers have finally decided to bid adieu to the viewers. Earlier, SpotboyE.com had reported in October that the makers plan on pulling the plugs in December. i.e. next month. But now it is reported that the show will leave the prime-time slot in the month of March.

In January, Mohnish Bahl who essayed the role of Dr Shashank in the medical drama decided to quit the show and then Gaurav Chopra was roped in as the new protagonist. But everything went in vain.

After entertaining us for 6 months, Sanjivani 2 is already headed to bid adieu to the viewers. The makers have wrapped the show which was followed by a small get together party. The director of the show, Siddharth Malhotra shared a few photos on while announcing the wrap of the show.

His tweet read, "It’s a wrap for a show that we will look back as a team with happy memories always..bonds for life yet again @SurbhiChandna @namitter29 @gauravchopraa   @rohitroy500 we missed u @Mohnish_Bahl and all who couldn’t make it last night."
