Television actress Vandana Vithlani, best remembered for her character of Urmila in the show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, is currently doing two shows on TV and that is Pandya Store and soon to be launched 'Tera Mera Saath Rahe' also starring Giaa Manek and Rupal Patel. Though the actress is busy juggling with her shoots these days, she has also been busy making Rakhis to sell online for Raksha Bandhan. The actress is, in fact, also doing this on her sets whenever she manages to get little time between her shots.
Vandana who is also a numerologist came up with this idea last year when she was out of work due to an ongoing pandemic. The actress was also not paid dues for the show which she did that time. Vandana started making Rakhis as per the calculations of names and birth dates sent by the brother and sister who wanted to order. Now, even when she has two shows in her hands which is keeping her busy, she has decided to continue with it this year also. While sharing the reason behind it, Vandana told SpotboyE.com exclusively, "Due to corona a lot of people had to change their profession. As they thought they may not be able to survive in their present profession. Because expenses are the same but income has lowered due to the Pandemic. And I was facing the same problem. Now, also many of them are facing this problem. Though I have two shows in hand this year, I am still making Rakhis and getting a good response. It's just 2-3 days back I posted about it on Instagram and by now I have got orders of around 20 Rakhis. So I am so busy shooting and then making Rakhis in between. I am just loving my work whatever I am doing." ALSO READ: Saath Nibhana Saathiya Prequel To Clash With Saath Nibhana Saathiya Sequel- Reports
Revealing the reason behind continuing to sell Rakhi this year also, Vandana said, "It's not like that Pandemic was there so I started making Rakhi for my survival and now when I have other work in hand I should stop. I made it a part of my creativity. And I am taking it ahead. I am making anklets and handmade jewellery also. Whoever has taken it from me have loved and I love that part of doing this. I don't want it to stop here. I don't know how big it will turn out to be eventually but I am trying my best to take it ahead.
If I have started something and I have the capacity to take it further. I will do it," concluded Vandana.
