The 2nd Installment of Saath Nibhana Saathiya is on a roll and how! And to spill the same magic as before, the makers are trying to get the same cast back on the show. After Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben and Rucha Hasabnis aka Rashi Ben confirmed their return, Vishal Singh who played Jigar Modi now says he’s not much interested in the show but is okay doing the cameo. After Saath Nibhana Saathiya’s rap video went viral, makers decided to come with the second season. During his latest conversation, Jigar Modi aka Vishal Singh said rather than doing the same show he would like to do something new.
He told ETimes, “I got a call from the makers for the same, and we had a conversation about it. As of now, I am not sure about joining the show again. I am okay doing a cameo but not much interested in doing a show of which I have already been a part of before. I was part of 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' for more than six years. Right now, I am busy with other work assignments, which involve a lot of travelling. So it will not be possible for me to invest my whole time in doing a daily soap.”
“Also, even if I put that aside, I would want to do something new, and not something which I have already done in the past. It should give me an opportunity to show my versatility,” he added further.
Speaking to Zoom Digital, Rucha said, “That we should ask Rashmi ma'am. For Saathiya, we always used to say that jo humare story writers, content writers jo the, they were fab. So if they can bring something very unique and wonderful for the second season, then it will be great to see."
