We all know Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s notorious character Gopi Bahu and how she can be too extreme. The character from popular Indian television show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya can go unfathomable lengths just to annoy the audience.
Amid the competition to be on the top, many shows have resorted to absurdity and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya just manages to top the list. Gopi’s ridiculous or wildly unreasonable ideas have no limits. While she can wipe laptops clean with just water and detergent, she can even ask her husband to get out of the coma only to make him tea. This time Gopi Bahu is talking to a rooster.
A video from the show has taken the internet by storm and it featured a clip from the show, where Gopi Bahu is having a conversation with the bird.
Apparently, she thinks it’s her husband – yes, the same husband who likes green tea. For some reason, she also thinks that it happened because of her and apologises. Interestingly, she also spends the entire day carrying the rooster (her husband), and talking to him.
However, the netizens opine that the show can do better and that Gopi Bahu deserves a better husband and content. Reacting to the video one user wrote, “We need someone to save the adults from the internet as well. Please.” Another wrote, “Ahem ji ko koi jaldi unki green tea pila do, theek ho jayenge.😢😢” A third wrote, “I want to know what the writer were on. How did they come up with this kind of nonsense?”
Well, Gopi Bahu’s life is certainly a roller-coaster and it should be titled accordingly!
