Playing AnokheLal Saxena in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai has been an outstanding experience for actor Saanand Verma, who says that the show has given him a lot. He adds that there are not many such characters out there.

“The experience of being Anokhe Lal Saxena on this amazing show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain has been wonderfully memorable. I think it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I got to play and I have enjoyed every bit of it. I am looking forward to enjoying it even more. I would like to be part of Bhabiji Ghar Pai Hain till its last episode and I am emotionally attached to my character Anokhe Lal Saxena. It’s a wonderful character, he is very unusual, unique and a rebel.  It’s one of the greatest characters that I have played till now in my career and I am very grateful to the show and it’s director Shashank Bali, writer Manoj Santoshi, super-duper hit television content producers Binaiferr Kohli and Sanjay Kohli,” he says. Ask him why the show is so loved and Verma replies, “Padosi ki biwi hamesha acchi lagti hai! And this is the concept of our show. You might still remember the cult film Padosan, it was loved. The second reason why people watch this show is that every character connects with a different age group. We also connect with different classes. Like Anita and Vibhuti connect with the upper class and the middle class connects with Angoori Bhabhi and Tiwari ji. The children connect with Saxena. People from north India love Happu Singh’s language. So every type of element is there in our show. Everyone has worked hard to make the show a big hit.” ALSO READ: 'Kangana Ranaut's Claim That 99% Of Bollywood Consumes Drugs Is Only To Malign The Industry,' Says Sushant Singh Rajput's Chhichhore Co-Star, Saanand Verma- EXCLUSIVE

Saanand says that he will never forget this show or his character. “It is the most memorable part of my journey as an actor. The way Saxena says, ‘I like it’ has become so popular. His whole personality is amazing. When he is in a painful situation, rather than crying, he says, ‘I like it’. This is something that is very unusual and unique and this character is extremely loveable and adorable,” he added.

The actor further talks about his role in AltBalaji's web series, Apharan. "The first part, by Alt Balaji, was amazing and I got a lot of acolytes, awards for my role. I played the character of Dubey ji and it was a hit. My dialogue, ‘Who is your daddy?’ became so popular that Balaji made a different show called, ‘Who is Your Daddy’ it’s a very big achievement for me. It is spicier and funny and so is Apharan 2!” concluded Verma.
