Some time ago, we had reported about how the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi are all set to introduce its extension with a special edition, whose tentative name was Khatron Ke Khiladi Reloaded. This show will bring back some popular former participants to once again battle with their fears. Now, a report in Times Of India states that the special edition has been titled 'Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made In India'. Well, that's not just the only scoop here. The portal adds how Rohit Shetty, who has been synonymous with the Khatron Ke Khiladi series, won't be available to host the first two episodes of this special edition. As per TOI, Farah Khan is all set to step into his shoes as a substitute.
Reportedly, the shoot for the special edition Khatron Ke Khiladi — Made In India is slated to go on floors today, albeit with the choreographer and filmmaker. A source close to the development said the portal how Shetty will be in Hyderabad for his upcoming film-related work. “Rohit is travelling to Hyderabad for the recce of his next film. The channel and makers have worked out the schedule in such a way that he will be away for just two episodes," said the source.
Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made In India is all set to feature contestants from its previous seasons like Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Karan Patel, Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Aly Goni, Nia Sharma and Jay Bhanushali. Rashami Desai, Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla, too, were reportedly approached; however, things didn't work out.
The portal further reports that comedian Gaurav Dubey, too, will be a part of this show, but not as a contestant. "Yes, I will be performing gags and seen in different avatars on the show. You might see me enter the scene just when a contestant is about to perform a task. I will trouble them and joke with them. I am sure it will be a lot of fun. I have already written a few gags and designed some characters for the show. Creative discussions are on and we will hopefully finalise everything soon. Those who liked me on ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’, will enjoy my performance on ‘KKK’," he said.
