Former Shark Tank India judge and co-founder of BharatPe Ashneer Grover enjoys a huge fanbase on social media. His unique catchphrases to blunt statements from the business-based reality show are still adored by his fans. He recently made his television comeback with MTV’s Roadies 19. He appeared as a guest-judge on the adventure-based reality show to help host Sonu Sood finalise the last 10 contestants. In the new promo released by the makers of the show, Ashneer can be seen schooling Gautam Gulati and Prince Narula for buttering him.
Posted on JioCinema’s official Instagram handle, in the video, Gautam can be seen expressing how since they both hail from Delhi, they should partner up. He says, “Aap bhi Delhi se ho, main bhi Delhi se hun. To saath mein milkar kuch partnership karte hai.” To which Ashneer replies, “Delhi, Delhi ka kya hai, sarkar thodi na banani hai yaha pe.” As the video progresses, Prince says, “Aap Delhi ke nahi, pure India ke ho.” Replying to it, the guest judge asks him to not butter him. Hosted by Sonu Sood, MTV Roadies - Karm Ya Kaand is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. The show sees Rhea Chakraborty, Prince Narula and Gautam Gulati as gang leaders. The show has been marred with controversy ever since the makers announced Rhea’s association with the project. From the internet being angry at the makers for giving the actress a chance to the constant fights on the show, Roadies 19 has constantly been making the headlines. Talking about Ashneer, he co-founded the brand BharatPe in 2018. He had also gone on to invest in many start-ups. However, it all came crashing down when his company alleged him and his wife Madhuri Jain of misusing the company funds and they were stripped off of their positions. Apart from being a part of Roadies, he had gone on to publish his own book Doglapan.
