Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal was a BIG FAN of Rishi Kapoor. The legendary actor left us today and Dilip, who is extremely emotional with his demise, recalled some pleasant memories with the veteran, exclusively with SpotboyE.com.

After a 2-year-long battle with Cancer, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last this morning at Sir HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai. His demise has made several people emotional and that includes one of his biggest fans, the popular actor from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Dilip Joshi who essays the role of Jetha Lal in the show.

Talking to us exclusively, Dilip poured out his feelings as he said, "Unfortunately, I never got a chance to work with him in my career, but I was privileged to meet him. I remember when he with his wife Neetu Singh had come to our sets to promote his film Do Dooni Chaar, I wasn't a part of the episode. But to meet him, I came to the set and exchanged some words. And believe me, it was a dream come true for me. As I felt that isse accha mauka nahi milega unhe milne ka."

Dilip also added, "I have grown up watching his films and been such a big fan of him that I have actually bought tickets in black to watch his films like Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahi, Karz. Rishi ji had a good laugh when I had told him these things. Neetu Ji was also there and she was so sweet. Whatever interaction I had with him, I realized that he was full of life. I felt so good when they told me that they have watched our show.”

However, it wasn't the only meeting of Dilip Joshi with him as he shared another interesting incident when he had met Rishi Kapoor. The actor said, "On February 28, 2018 I had gone to attend Zakir Hussain's concert at Prithvi theatre where he had invited selective people and Ramesh Sippy who was standing near Rishi Kapoor saw me and called me. As he introduced me to Rishi ji, the best part was that he remembered our meeting on the TMKOC sets even after so many years and immediately said ‘Yes yes, I have gone to his show to promote my film’.”

On a concluding note, he said, "I know that we all are going through a bad time but this is too harsh. Yesterday, we lost Irrfan Khan and today Rishi Kapoor. It’s damn painful. He left the world too early. He had said somewhere and I had read about it that he is getting his due now as he was doing so much of work and many interesting roles. The last film which I watched of him was 102 Not Out. Such a natural actor. He will always be remembered".
