Fans of ace comedian Raju Srivastava were left worried after it was reported that he was rushed to the hospital due to a heart attack. On Wednesday, he fell down from the treadmill at a gym in his hotel and complained of chest pain. He was immediately taken to AIIMS, New Delhi where doctors said Raju suffered a mild heart attack. Now his close friend and comedian Sunil Pal has shared an update on Srivastava’s health. He revealed that Raju is recovering well and is out of danger now.
Yes, all the fans of Raju Srivastava can now heave a sigh of big relief! Taking to his Instagram handle, Sunil Pal posted a video of him where he not just gave a health update on Raju Srivastava but also sent out his wishes for him. In the clip, he could be heard saying in Hindi, "Ye sach hai ki comedy king Raju Srivastava ko dil ka daura pada tha, unhe AIIMS mein bharti karaya gaya tha aur ab unki tabiyat bahut achi hai, aap sab ki dua se, ishwar ki kripa se bahut achi tabiyat hai, ab woh khatre ke bilkul bahaar hain.” Sunil also wished Raju a speedy recovery and said all his loved ones are waiting for him in Mumbai. "Raju bhai get well soon, hum sab aapse bahut pyaar karte hain, sabke liye bahut khushi ki khabar hai ki ab woh bilkul theek hain. Hum sab unka Mumbai mein intezaar kar rahe hain, abhi woh Delhi mein hain,” Sunil Pal added.
Reportedly, Srivastava will be kept under observation for a few more days in the hospital before he gets discharged. The 58-year-old actor is one of the most loved and popular standup comedians that we have in the Industry. Raju started his career by doing small roles in Bollywood films. He had appeared in Salman Khan’s starrer Maine Pyar Kiya, Shah Rukh Khan’s Baazigar, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Bombay to Goa, and others.
He ventured into stand-up comedy with the talent show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and finished as second runner-up.
