Social media scams are rampant these days. While celebrities suffer from incessant trolling, they are not even deprived of fraudsters who make fake accounts in their name. The recent incident is of RadhaKrishn star Sumedh Mudgalkar. The star who essays the role of Krishna in the mythological show recently took to his Instagram account to warn his fans and friends about a fake account in his name that is asking for money to run the show.
On Instagram, Sumedh put up several stories sharing the screenshots of the chat with the fraudster. In another story, he also wrote, "A little something for you guys. A guy on facebook is using my name and asking for money saying its just help for our project or something. IT'S ALL FAKE! PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT.!"
In the screenshots shared, one can read that the fraudster is asking for monetary help for the show to go on. He's talking about an investment of almost Rs 35 crore out of which he needs 5 crores. Check out Sumedh's post below:
Meanwhile, the show RadhaKrishn was recently in the news as rumours were doing the rounds of gossip mills that the show's female lead Mallika Singh has quit. However, the producer of the show rubbished all the reports and stated that Mallika will be a part of this show until its end.
