The Coronavirus outbreak has just affected lakhs of lives globally, but it has brought almost all the industries, including that of entertainment, on a standstill. Films have been postponed; shootings have come to an indefinite halt and whatnot. Something similar is also the case of Star Bharat’s RadhaKrishn. However, unlike most of us, the lead actors of this show, along with 180 crew members, are locked on the show’s set in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak. A report in NavbharatTimes reported this news.

As per them, the leading cast of this mythological show Sumedh Mudgalkar, Mallika Singh, Nimay Bali and around a whopping 180 crew members are locked in the show’s shooting location Umargaon, which is located at Maharashtra’s border. This has been going on ever since the lockdown was announced. It is being said that the production house has made all the necessary arrangements for everyone. Mallika Singh, who plays the role of Radha’s mother in the show, revealed that her mother is staying along with her.

She said, “This time the case was different, we thought the lockdown would be over in a few days, it is necessary to be safe now. Now we are here from the last month. Life has become strange. We are all safe. Swastik Production has given a flat to all of us actors here in Umargaon; we are all here, comfortable and have all the food and drink facilities. The production is taking care of us. Every other day a Dr. comes and checks our temperature every third-fourth day. The entire shooting location and our building are sanitised.”

Sumedh revealed, “I had to stop for some work, I did not know that the lockdown would happen. The condition now is that lockdown 2 has been imposed. The most important thing at this time is to be safe, which we all are. There are many people here on the set besides me, all of us living separately.”

Glad to know they are safe and let’s pray that the situation comes under control soon!
