Due to the Coronavirus lockdown currently, as Surbhi’s show, Qubool Hai is among the list of shows that will be re-run on TV. The actress shared how it is very nostalgic because it was her first show.
Television actress Surbhi Jyoti has been winning hearts ever since she marked her debut on the small-screen with show Qubool Hai. Since then, be it her role as Naagin in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show or anything else, Surbhi has managed to garner a huge fan base for herself and has turned into a household name. As the show Qubool Hai featuring Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover is back on TV, the actress shared how she feels about it. Speaking with Pinkvilla.com, Surbhi shared how it is very nostalgic for her that the show will be re-run as it was her first show and has also been close to her heart.
The Qubool Hai actress said, “It is very nostalgic because it was my first show and it was like a dream for me. It is very close to my heart and I love the show the most just because it was my first but it also happened to be an overnight hit." Surbhi also spoke about how overwhelmed she was when she did the show and mentioned that she did not expect that it will gain so much of love from everyone. Explaining the love Qubool Hai received further, Surbhi added, “you know because I was new and no one knew me back then while Karan Singh Grover was a rage back then, a heartthrob.” The actress also spoke about how the show is a superhit made her who she is today and thanked the entire team for it.
Meanwhile, when asked if she got in touch with producer Gul Khan or Karan or other cast members after hearing the good news, Surbhi said, “Absolutely. Everyone has shared posts and we reshared them as well. I also spoke to Karan, called Gul ma'am and we also did a live chat because we were all very excited since the show has all our hearts." The actress mentioned how she spoke with Karan Singh Grover and producer Gul Khan and did a live chat as well out of excitement.
