'When a television actor shows keen interest in working on a web series or a film, that doesn't mean his respect for TV has gone down' says Sourabh Raaj Jain, who recently debuted in the OTT space with a special appearance in Zee5's Qubool Hai.

While Sourabh's strongest fortey has been television over the years with some of the most popular and prominent shows to his credit, exploring OTT was a must for him to widen his versatility as an actor and a performer, but being questioned about the big shift from TV to OTT has got Sourabh to put out a strong message to people who have been questioning his loyalties towards television.  ALSO READ: Qubool Hai 2.0: Sourabh Raaj Jain Shares His Excitement Of Making His Digital Debut - EXCLUSIVE

"For me, an actor is an actor irrespective of any medium, but when a so called tv actor shows keen interest in doing a web series or a film that doesn’t mean that his/her respect for tv has gone down in any way. It simply means we are trying a different platform to showcase our talent", says Sourabh. "We are already being judged so crucially on so many levels, so at least do not project it as EGO! We all are on our respective journeys, and I am filled with immense gratitude for everything that has come my way till now. Hence I request people to stop being judgemental beyond our talent as actors and look at us as fellow creative beings", he concludes.
