As you all know Bigg Boss fame, Priyank Sharma and Vikas Gupta have collaborated for AltBalaji’s web series, Puncch Beat, based on high school drama. The trailer of the web series is out. The web series also stars Siddharth Sharma, Harshita Gaur and Khushi Joshi. Directed by Vikas Gupta, the series is all about love, passion, competition, jealousy and more. Rings a bell?
Well, as the trailer started, we also felt that it’s a revisit to the corridors of Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt-Sidharth Malhotra's Student Of The Year. The plot seems to be similar, where two students fight it out to be the best in their college, feeling the emotions of love and compassion alongside. Priyank Sharma (Rahat), Harshita Gaur (Divyanka), Siddharth Sharma (Ranbir) and Khushi Joshi (Padmini) look convincing in their roles and manage to grab attention. The canvas of the series is rich and surely Ekta has invested good amount of money in it.
Talking about his character Rahat, Priyank had earlier told SpotboyE, "It's an amazing series and I am really looking forward to it. I play a boxer in it. Although I can't call myself a complete boxer but yes, now I am a half-boxer as I have taken proper training for the same. I will be shirtless most of the time in the series and my character is very intense." You may recall, we had also told you exclusively that Priyank Sharma will romance one of the Asia's sexiest women, Harshita Gaur in the show.
