PFT reacts to SpotboyE.com yesterday's story on Game Of Thrones rather angrily. But did they fail to read the story properly?

Last evening, we ran a story stating Star India is antagonised with Prime Focus and is planning on taking the legal route. We are sure of our information that Star India is contemplating to take legal recourse.

However, PFT claims that no such move is in the offing.

At 11pm last evening, Daniel Francis, Adviser, PFT, got in touch with us to express this sentiment.

A Scene From Game Of Thrones

This is Prime Focus Technology’s response from him, which we reproduce verbatim:

“This is a malicious story, can be clearly termed as "Fake News". It's highly irresponsible for SpotboyE.com to publish this unverified and untrue story without asking Prime Focus for a response. By this, journalistic practices and ethics have been compromised.  We wish SpotboyE.com issues an immediate corrigendum and unconditional apology to Prime Focus for this defamatory news item that seems to be motivated and purposeful to serve vested interest. In case the web portal fails to issue the corrigendum, withdraw the story and apologise to Prime Focus we will pursue legal action and, also report the matter to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Press Council of India.

A Still From Game Of Thrones

While it was good of Mr Francis to call us and send us his version but what he has said constitutes a THREAT and not a response.

Moreover, we wonder if the officials at Prime Focus read the story properly. We had clearly said “If this is indeed happening...”--- and we reiterate that again. We have not said anywhere that Star India WILL press the legal button.

Aage aage dekhen hota hai kya!
