It was recently reported that Manit Joura, the male lead of the show Prem Bandhan, has tested positive for Coronavirus. Now, his co-star Ariah Agarwal also got tested for COVID-19, and the result came back positive. Ariah Agarwal was seen in the popular TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and she also plays the antagonist on Prem Bandhan. While speaking to ETimes, Ariah revealed that she only had slight fever, and no other symptoms, however, she decided to get tested as she works with actors across all age groups.
Ariah told ETimes, “I had slight fever and although I didn’t have any other symptoms, I underwent a test yesterday, which came back positive. I shoot with actors across all age groups — senior and young. When you are working amid such a mix, it is not right to not be careful. My conscience didn’t allow me to not test.” Giving an update as to how she has been feeling, Ariah revealed that she is feeling weak, and has lost her sense of smell.
Ariah said that she has isolated herself in her room, and is using this break to rest. “Even though I want to get back on the sets, I’m trying to stay calm and use this time to introspect and process life. I am working on my mental health and well-being, too. I’m watching shows, listening to music and playing Ludo on the phone,” she added.
In other news, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein actor Neil Bhatt also contracted the virus, after which it was reported that his co-star Aishwarya Sharma also tested positive for Coronavirus.
