Parth Samthaan, who is essaying the character of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, recently decided to quit the show. And in a few days reports came in that the show which was launched at a grand level is going off air. Though the reason behind the decision is not officially announced but our sources maintained that the makers were already thinking about it due to falling TRPs and then Parth's sudden decision of leaving the show added to it. And now when the show has got its last day of shoot date which is October 3, the actor has decided to continue the show until then.
However, a latest report in TOI, suggests that all is not well between Ekta Kapoor and Parth Samthaan now because of him deciding to leave her ongoing show midway. These reports also claimed that because of the sour equation, Ekta might replace him in her web series, Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu. Well, this news definitely came as a shock to us and we contacted our source who is also part of the team who is making this series and he told us, "There is no truth to it. We have already shot for the series with Parth and he will only be completing it. We aren't looking out for replacements either." This is definitely a sigh of relief for those who are excited to see Parth in a gangster avatar. The series is based on the underworld and set up in the 80s and 90s era. Parth's character, who is a gangster, is inspired by none other than Abu Salem who was involved in Bollywood extortion cases during those times. We exclusively told you that Patralekha Paul who is not just a wonderful actress but also in a strong relationship with famous actor Rajkummar Rao, will star opposite Parth in the series.
